Carlisle Chang

April 21, 1921 – May 6, 2001

Carlisle Fenwick Chang was born in San Juan, Trinidad in 1921.  He was the last of three children born to parents of Chinese descent.

He was an artist who created a career through

his involvement in theatre, dance, advertising, photography, interior designing, painting, carnival, pottery and other crafts.

His art career began in the 1940s and rose to prominence in the Caribbean region.
